DJ Mix-I-am – “The Mix Phenom” is one of the hottest up and coming premiere Hip-Hop Disc Jockeys in the DMV. Originally from Washington, DC, Hip-Hop Moguls such as Puff Daddy, Master P, and DJ Pioneer Kid Capri inspired his passion for Hip-Hop and urban culture. Mix has earned over 15 years of experience in the entertainment business. Owner of Mix-I-Am Entertainment LLC & I Mix Recording Studios located in Rockville, Maryland. Mix continues to DJ in the hottest nightclubs, but his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing music. “Music has a way of telling your truth or exploiting your true emotions.”
DJ Mix-I-Am stars & Co-Host on a show called Da Crātz, where they spotlight rising DMV artist exclusively on YouTube. Mix continues to host the hottest DMV spotlight showcases in the city to pay homage to Hip-Hop and prove DC has the next up. As a DJ, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically. Known for his legendary pre-game Friday night “Phene Mixes,” and unorthodox style of mixing. His style has landed him on stages such as Titan Music Awards and WPGC 95.5 radio station with the co-produced song named “Soldier”.
